The fifth collaboration travel package with Kodo!
"Kodo" is a taiko performing arts group based on Sado Island that has performed in more than 50 countries and regions since its debut at the Berlin Art Festival in 1981.
Sado Kisen and "Kodo" have been jointly planning and offering travel plans since this year in order to realize both parties' desire to revitalize Sado Island.
This Kodo performance will be held in the Ogi area (Marine Plaza Ogi), Kodo's home base!

Tour Dates: Sat.October 5 , Sun.October 6, Sat.October 12 - Mon.October 14 , Sat.October 19 - Sun. October 20 ,each morning performance start 10:30 - (afternoon performance starts 14:00-) 45 minutes performance and doors open 30 minutes before performance starts.

Celebration! Selected as an "Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings!
On August 15, 2024, the "Ogi-machi Traditional Building Preservation District, Sado City" was selected as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings, which is recognized by the government as being of particularly high value. The town houses with overhanging second stories along the arc-shaped cove are a distinctive feature of the area.
You will also receive a convenient Ogi Town Exploration Map (in Japanese) to help you explore the Ogi area.♪ Be sure to enjoy this traditional townscape before or after your Kodo performance.

Vehicle transportation (Naoetsu route) 19,800 yen per vehicle

The vehicle transportation fee does not include the driver's second-class fare.
● Eligible vehicle types are passenger cars (including minivans) with a vehicle length of 3m or more to 6m or less as indicated on the vehicle inspection certificate.
(Regular cars, compact cars, and mini cars with a seating capacity of 10 passengers or less that transport people. (Including campers and wheelchair-accessible vehicles)
● Trucks and freight vehicles as defined in the vehicle inspection certificate are not eligible.
Rental car 9,000 yen per car [Day trip only]
Including exemption compensation fee and security compensation fee. No need to for refuel gasoline. Rent from 9:50 to 17:00 on the same day.

The rental car is a compact car (maximum capacity of 5 persons).
All cars are non-smoking.
Child seats can be arranged at free of charge (reservation required in advance).
Basic Insurance and Compensation
In the unlikely event of an accident, you will be compensated within the following limits.
○ Bodily injury compensation...unlimited per person (including liability insurance)
○ Property damage compensation...unlimited per accident
○ Passenger compensation...up to 30 million yen per person
○ Vehicle compensation...up to market value per accident
● Exemption compensation fee
The following charges will be waived in the event of an accident or defacement of the vehicle.
The following customer charges will be waived in the event of an accident or defacement.
[Liability waiver compensation] 50,000 yen for property and 50,000 yen for vehicles will be waived in the event of an accident or defacement. Exemption from payment of compensation for absence from work (20,000 yen for self-propelled or 50,000 yen for non-propelled) incurred in the event that cleaning becomes necessary.
