Zenkoji Temple is an ancient temple with a history of approximately 1,400 years located in Nagano City, Nagano Prefecture. The temple was founded before the birth of various Buddhist sects in Japan, and is considered a nondenominational temple that can be visited by all sects.

Zenkoji Temple is surrounded by mountains and is said to be filled with the energy of nature and the divine spirit. The temple is very mysterious, with many things said to bring blessings, including the Gohonzon, the O-kaidan tour, the sutra storehouse, and the Gokaicho.
