Travel Point 1: "Fuban Ku Kuujozo Bosatsu Enjo-ji Temple
The famous Enzo-ji Temple has been widely worshipped since ancient times, and is affectionately called "Yanaizu no Kokuzo-sama" (Lord of Kokuzo in Aizu). The statue of a pet cow in the precincts of the temple is also the origin of the word "Akabeko" (red cow), which has been said to bring happiness since ancient times.
Point of Travel (2) Daiichi Tadamigawa Bridge
This is a popular photography spot located about a 10-minute walk uphill from the roadside station. The railway bridge and mountains provide a spectacular view, and the timing when Tadami Line trains are passing by is a great photo opportunity. Please take a look at the world-class view of the T adami Line. (The train is scheduled to pass at around 13:03)
Travel point 3) Special lunch of snow moat cabbage!
●Snow-driven cabbage and Yanaizu glutinous pork
Enjoy this delicious way of eating vegetables produced by the climate of Okuaizu, a snow country. You will surely be impressed by the sweetness of "Yuki-Hori Cabbage," whose sugar content has been increased by the cold weather by storing cabbage with roots under the snow. This menu allows you to enjoy fresh cabbage dug up from the white snow and soft glutinous pork raised healthily in Yanaizu Town.
The Tadami Line is a local train line popular among railroad fans for the combination of the spectacular view from the train windows, the railway tracks and bridges along the Tadami River, and the great nature. It has become a popular spot visited by many fans every year at Shadow Point. The Tadami Line runs through the morning mist of the Tadami River, weaves through the mountains with magnificent scenery, and runs through the Aizu Plain, and continues to run as a line for daily life closely connected to the community. Please enjoy the time that passes slowly and the nature of Oku-Aizu on this one-day bus tour to experience the charm of the Tadami Line and Oku-Aizu.
